Norwell's Training and Development Programs
The following is a summary of Immersion Learning training programs developed
by Norwell to assist client companies and individuals:
The Five-Minute Rule—Connecting With Those Who Matter Most
Based on the book The Five-Minute Rule coauthored by Donald P. Mangum,
this program presents a variety of methods that allows participants to
amplify their time with those who matter most. A child was taught that he
could do anything for one minute, and so it should not be that hard to do it
for five minutes. From that simple instruction, the Five-Minute Rule
evolved. Nearly a lifetime later, tens of thousands of people have been
taught how to enrich their most important relationships, at home, at work,
or in the community.

Understanding Self & Others—Discovering Heart, Mind, and Body
After struggling with the problem of helping clients understand and use
complex personality tests, Norwell has developed a simple, easy to use
tool that helps participants identify their distinct personality characteristics
and how they differ from others. These insights contribute to surprising
increases in personal and organizational productivity.
Career Enhancement—Building For Good Times; Preparing For Bad
Career Enhancement is a two day program which guides the participants
through an evaluation of their employment skills and life needs, and
provides them with the ability to identify and pursue employment
opportunities. The uniquely designed team approach gives participants
the support and coaching they need after the program has been
completed and they are on their own.
All of these programs are stand alone presentations that can be adapted
to specific client’s needs.
